Black Friesian/Tb Mare

Nyssa is a breathtaking 6 year old Friesian/Thoroughbred cross mare. Her Sire was a Lofty pure-bred Friesian and her Dam was a very Fancy moving Tb. She is owned and loved by Susan Ivancevich & family.

Nyssa has been at HCHF in training for a bit over two months. We have been working on gaining Nyssa's trust and getting her a nice solid foundation w/t/c under saddle. Nyssa had a bit of a rocky road before Susan purchased her, so we had some work to do. Thankfully, Nyssa had a wonderful foundation left with her, from her breeders, that has now surfaced again. What a trusting girl she has become!

Nyssa has been ohhh, Soooo much fun! Talk about Talent! This girl has allll the right moves! Power, Forward, Impulsion, Looks, Brains.... the list goes on and on and on......

When Nyssa returns home she will continue her training under the talented hands of Jennifer Mandel. Jennifer is a very accomplished Dressage rider. She has a very soft hand and I do believe she adores Nyssa as much as I do!

So..... Watch out for a Big Lofty Fancy Friesian Girl in the Dressage Ring soon.... she will be there and she will knock your socks off!!!!!!

Aprit 21st, 2009... Nyssa has returned home to continue training with Jennifer Mandel. She settled in so very nicely and her family is so excited to have her home. She is already going W/T/C under Dressage tack with Jen.....I can not wait to see pics! I can only imagine how awesome she looks! I will update her progress and will be adding current photos as soon as I receive them!
