Events held at "Boys & Girls Home Equine Expo Center" Indoor Arena, Two Outdoor Riding Arenas, Stalls, Hook-ups, Overnight Camping, Bath Houses, Concessions, Vendors --> Tops Tobacco Rd Lake Waccamaw, NC
~ April 28th Show ~
9 am ~ Gates Open
10 am ~ Office Open to pick up your Number/ Late Entries accepted (if room)
10 -10:30 am ~ Indoor Arena Open for Schooling ( Not on Obstacles)
11 am ~ Show Begins
1) In Hand
2) Youth
3) Novice Rider
4) Green Horn
5) Masters
* Green Horn Class will not start before 1 pm (it may start after)
~ Classes Offered ~
IN HAND ~ Open to ALL riders/horses/mules, entire class is done "In Hand" (leading) horse, No under saddle work. Any Type of safe Halter and Lead is ok, soft cotton or parachute cord Leads at least 12 foot in length and Rope "Natural Horsemanship" Halters recommended .. but not required and halter/lead type will not be reflected in your score) The Same "Handler" MAY Enter more than one Horse. ~ $25 Entry Fee
YOUTH ~ This is 12 and Under and a Handler IS Allowed to assist Child from the Ground, 6-8 obstacles "Easier" obstacles, Each Youth may only ride One Horse in this Class ~ Entry Fee $15
NOVICE RIDER ~ Under Saddle Class (May have a dismount portion, mounting block provided) ~ This Class consists of 12 or more Slightly Easier Obstacles than Masters, Open to NOVICE Riders only... "Novice" defined as less than two years Showing ANY type of Horse show, Each Novice rider can enter One horse in this class, Any Horse/Mule in eligible , You May Cross Enter other Classes.. ~ Entry Fee $25
GREEN HORN ~ Under Saddle Class (May have dismount portion, mounting block provided) Open to ALL Riders, ALL Horse/Mule.. This Class will be of similiar difficulty/obstacle type to the Novice, but is open to ANY Rider who feels their horse would benefit from this "level" of difficulty .... One Rider May Enter more than one horse in this Class, You May Cross Enter Other Classes ~ Entry Fee $25
MASTERS ~ Under Saddle Class ( May have dismount portion, Mounting Block provided) Open to ALL Riders, All Horses/Mules .. Most Difficult Class with Most Advanced Obstacles including a Special "Mystery" Obstacle!.. One Rider may enter more than one horse, You may cross enter other Classes ~ $25

Entries open two weeks prior to each show date. Pre-Enter to Avoid $10 Office Fee if entering day of show. Even though you may enter at show and pay $10 office fee keep in mind there is always a chance we might have to cut off entries due to the amount we receive. Pre-entering will Guarantee your spot in your classes and save you the $10 fee.. and will HELP US TREMENDOUSLY ;-)

Stalls are available for Friday night, Sat night or just the day on Sat. They cost $60 which includes three bags pine shavings, You may rent the stall for $45 if you bring your own pine shavings, but there must be enough for them to cover the entire floor of stall.. even if you only plan to use the stall for the day Sat. (Facility Rules)
Hook ups cost $30 per night for sewer, water and electricity and $25 per night just water and electricity
Tent camping is Free
Bath Houses with clean Showers available
If you plan to over-night either Friday or Sat you MUST Pre-enter and sign up for your stalls before the show.
If you are overnighting you may arrive Friday at 5 pm and leave by Sunday at 12 noon. The indoor Arena is only open for schooling/riding/showing on Sat. the day of the show.

During the Show on April 28th we will have a special Book Signing of "Silver Mane ~ Tale of a Wild Horse" by Mary Miller Jordan & "America's Favorite Trail Horse" Lindsay's Faith
The Special "Incentive Awards" will be included as always;
"Riders4Helmets Safety Incentive" ~ All riders that wear a sei certified Helmet are entered in a Random Drawing for a Unique Award (Remember under 18 are Required to wear a Helmet, but EVERYONE is Encouraged)
"Billy Murray Sr SPORTSMANSHIP Award" ~ In Honor of my Step Father, and Husband to Show Announcer Dr. Sybil Burgess Murray (my Mother), Given to one contestant that is seen encouraging others as well as their horse throughout the show
"Jackie Bullard Sr SOFT TOUCH Award" Created by Kim Bullard Benson in honor of her Daddy Mr. Jackie Bullard. Awarded to the team to shows the softest communication throughout the show.
We do not do "Ribbons" ... All Awards are Unique and things you can USE and Show off as you and your horse experience other adventures together! Sponsors are The Celtic Horse Tack Store , Cats Tack & Horsey Services, Triple Crown Feed, Alison Mackey, Iconoclast Boots, Tipperary Helmets.. if you are interested in Partnering with our show please contact us!!!.. In the past we have awarded, IC Support Boots, Tipperary Helmets, Show Coolers, Leather Conditioner, Tote Bags, Hay Bags, Grooming Supplies, Rope Halters, Bridles and much more!!
