Oslo is so much fun here at HCHF. He is coming 3 years old this year and what a joy each year has been. My husband and I even hooked Oslo to the cart this year to explore the woods to find our Christmas tree! We found the perfect one and Oslo proudly drove us and the new tree home! Oslo is a very unique stallion, I can literally walk out to his pasture, no lead or halter in hand and ask him to bow or even lay down and he gladly does so! He is quite the show off, but Full of personality and oh soooo much fun! This breed and this horse is as unique as the two-tone mane they proudly carry!

HC Oslo, Mike and Mary and our 2009 Christmas Tree!
Below is from the owner of Oslo's sire...
Blitz is now S1, G1, V and E This year (2009) he has been competing in dressage, eventing and driving. He has pinned in every horse trial he has entered, including two USEA recognized trials. He won his BN division last month at the CDCTA Fall Horse Trials. He also was driving champion at the Virginia Draft Horse and Mule Show, winning his pleasure driving class, cones and obstacles. He was reserve champion for small draft ridden. He would have won the overall versatility award except for his handler's error. Blitzen has forgiven me for breaking the straw bale when removing from the stone boat.~Margaret and Ironwood Blitzen
